I was thinking about saving for one of these
Dboys Scar's but if the description is correct, it would be shooting too hot for CQB. I don't know how springs work (like what M90, M110, etc mean)
So what kind of spring would I need to get it lower than 350 fps?
It takes a bit of searching. The way i see the M100, M120, etc.. is the M is Meters/sec.. Meaning, an M120 is 120 Meters per Second.. Here's the entire spring chart i refer to. Regardless of the upgrades to the tested airsoft gun, it's within 5 or so FPS of any gun you could have stock:

Depends on the FPS of your gun. If you're shooting 420 (like my M4 is), then yes, you will need a downgrade. I believe the FPS limit is 350, however don't quote me on that. There's still paperwork and everything i don't know about.
I, personally, will have someone at either Traders World where these guys work perform a spring change to hit about 325-335, or wait til the arena opens up for it.
350 will be the max FPS for most games... we will offer the occasionally a hotter game or urban shooting match (targets) with a max of 400 FPS, and the target range will be up to the 400 FPS anytime.
400FPS is the max allowed by any insurance company I could locate. I would like to have the target range at 650 FPS max for better accuracy, but this will need to be ironed out with the insurance company.
Yes. 350 sounds great to me. Just enough power to feel your hits and not be bleeding. Especially at close range lol.
Personally, looking at Warhawk's source, i'll be looking into a PDI 120%.
so what would the cost of a good spring cost if i was downgrading, what spring would you recomend?
I will be investing in a PDI 120% (~325). Other good springs include the Systema 1J (~310 fps), King Arms M90 (~325) or M100 (~335). These numbers are stock numbers and dont' account for Tight Bore Barrels (TBB's) and such.
I don't know how much they cost from one of the guys at Traders World, but about 12-20 dollars for the spring. Although, most hit the 15 dollar range. So not an expensive fix. If you do upgrade/downgrade your spring, and plan to use it at this arena, aim a decent amount below the 350 limit.
