I wanted a good rof, a cqb fps, good quality(not plastic crap), not extremely pricey, etc.

For a stock DBoys SCAR, I would recommend downgrading the spring. Maybe to a M100. Second, you should look into metal bushings. I think they are 7mm stock. Then a new piston head or if you want to save money, go with a new o-ring for better seal. You can pick up the spring at Airsoft Arms for about $15. Or if you want to go lower than 340-350 fps, look into the Systema 1J spring. It's $10 and puts your gun around 310 fps.

You may want to buy a spring that has around 300-310 fps. That way if sometime down the road you want to upgrade your hop-up or upgrade to a tightbore barrel, you have a little extra wiggle room to the 350fps limit here.
