At one point in a game a ref should shout EMP! and all the lghts in the arena turn off. Yes, you should still be allowed to use optics and flashlights, so technically, no, it isn't actually an EMP. I just think it would be cool to have some "night" scenarios or something along those lines.
Sounds cool. But if they are going to shut off the lights, they should turn on some other lights. Safety is key in airsoft if you haven't noticed. Also, I think that too much Call of Duty in airsoft could lead to some bad decision making on part of the younger airsoft players.
I am quite aware this is in Call of Duty, but I don't even play that game and did not get the idea from it. I understand safety is big, it's just a blunt suggestion and hasn't been thought through completely.
This would be interesting in a hardcore MILSIM game bought otherwise, way too unsafe for just an everyweek open play game.
1) You may not play MW2, but a couple milllion people do, and I'm sure a couple of those will be kids who will come to play here for the first time with their springers.
2) Not everyone has a flashlight that is attached to their gun, and it's pretty hard to carry one around while trying to identify enemies and shoot them.
Also if your looking for a night event, go to airsoftohio.com, they have one every once in a while. They're alot of fun to go to. But like I said before this would be interesting as an objective based thing in a hardcore MILSIM game, but that's as far as I see this going. Good Idea though.
Speaking of night games, there is one at Red Dragon on June the 12th
Ya, me and my friends plan on making it to this. This will be my second night op and the first one was alot of fun.

its like yelling kill a bunch of Innocent russians in an airport!!!...
no just kidding but i see your point
If you were to do this, I would have the walls or floor light up laser-tag style. Or even cooler, use those purple lights that make white clothes light up, know what I'm talking about???
