Hey guys, im completely new to competetive airsoft and I would love to have a hobby to do on the weekends that involve replica guns because I love anything to do with weapons. I am 15 turning 16 this coming november, so if age is a restriction just let me know. Ive played airsoft with some local friends in the woods with walmart springers, but it would be great to play with roles and scenarios. I have a Mauser Broomstick green gas pistol replica already ordered, and im looking to invest into an AK 47 or MP5 AEG replica.
Welcome to the forum... first age restrictions = 8 years old to 17 require a signed waiver from a parent or guardian.
Guns lots to choose from, so it is more a matter of finding a gun you like more then anything. Also in case you didn't know, green gas can be lots of fun, but in the Winter time they tend to be disappointing as the gas doesn't do well in cold weather.
Thanks, I won't be able to use that gun anyways because it is over 350 fps. Do you know of any good quality JG aegs that are around the 150$ range?
Lots of JG guns are in that range.... You should stop by our store in Traders World (Extreem War Zone) Building 11 or just PM King of Arms here on the forum, or shoot Doug an email... doug@cincinnatiairsoft.com and I am sure he will be able to get you into a good quality gun for that money.
