New to Cincinnati
Hello all, My name is Lurch. You can call me Lurch, or Jay, which ever you prefer is fine. I've been playing airsoft since around 1997.

My first AEG is still my primary one. It is a Marui MP5 A5 which has seen more than its' fair share of modifications. I ran it stock and it performed dutifully with little maintenance for the last ten years now. The other AEG love of my life would be "Tactical Tupperware", the P90 which has been modified heavily.

I make a living repairing motorcycles and have a relatively fair knowledge of aeg gearboxes that allows me to do all my own upgrade and repair work. Hopefully I can make a great contribution to the Cincinnati airsofting community here.

I'm not terribly great when it comes to playing, but the love of the sport inspires me to learn how to be a better player every single day.

I used to play in an indoor converted k-mart in Illinois before it closed a few years back. Those were good days and I am willing to contribute any and all of my experiences and knowledge to making the new Cincinnati indoor cqb arena as successful and fun as is possible so feel free to ask me anything.

Thanks for including me...

RE: New to Cincinnati
I just got married and moved to Cincinnati around august so I'm very new to the area.

For the year before living here I went to school in Florida and before that I was in St Louis for about 9 years where my love of airsoft really developed into the money hungry, gear whoring obsession that it is today.

RE: New to Cincinnati
How you had Skyline? Gold Star? Larosas? The food of Cinci is great, but you gotta choose Gold Star or SKyline, just common ritual, love one, never look at the other. I may be 12, but I know this place pretty good.

One day, I gave up airsoft, Barq's Root Beer, and Call of Duty. IT WAS THE WORSE 10 MINUTES OF MY LIFE!!!

RE: New to Cincinnati
Just had Skyline today. Fantastic stuff, man. But yes, it's like a "rivalry" thing in my opinion lol
Skyline > Goldstar
LaRosa's > everything

RE: New to Cincinnati
I work at LaRosa's and have known many LaRosa's owners and I have met Buddy once or twice. And I go to Skyline every other day even if it's just to get a Coke and sit in a booth.
