RE: Price?
Right now we are still looking at the price, but would like to keep the cost down around $6 - $8 per 20 minute game and around $4 - $5 for rental gear if needed. Since we are looking at such a big arena, we need to make a profit.

RE: Price?
thats kind of pricey in my humble opinion. I mean your talking 20 min game. lets say 4 games equals out to about an hour in half. thats about 37$ without tax. then you chuck on rental fees uping it over 40 dollers. I dont know about any of you but I know this is airsoft but it can't be that much diffrent then paintball in retrospect the way your laying it out. Most people I know who played paintball with me played pretty much no less then 3 to 4 hours. to acomplish this one would have to pay about a little over 80$ a day that is with the rental. or if they have there own 70-75$ that is way more expensive then the twenty all day rental with the 20 all day field and air pass that most paintball fields around this area are charging. give or take ofcourse.

RE: Price?
sorry, I guess I should have elaborated (long drive yesterday) sitting in a Chicago Hotel right now, training this week and going to a hobby show here in Chicago as well as meeting with several vendors.

Our thoughts are around $6 for a 20 minute game with a $4 rental (approx) this will allow for people who do not know airsoft, have never played and those just checking the place out.

We also plan to offer daily/weekly/monthly plans All of these will be more consistent with what you stated. Sorry it has been a long week dealing with more number than I want to explain here (P&L statements are fun).

Keep in mind also that we will have one of the only fully interactive target ranges in the Cincinnati Area, this along with be worth the cost of entry Fighting0011 okay at least in my mind.

RE: Price?
Im not questioning you. It is your place and you have the right to charge what you wish. So please forgive me if it sounds like im telling you how to run your biz. Im just saying it would be 160 at best a weekend for somebody such as myself who wishes to play a whole lot train and get as good as i can at this. That deters anybody to really want to be there everyweekend. lol I hope the weekly/monthly/yearly membership/pass watcha ma call it will be cheeper. lol. I agree tho you have a comodity that is in high demand and low in availabilty around here so you pretty much have carblanch on what you wish to price. lol

RE: Price?
As a business owner myself, I find it is better to have some money in your hand as opposed to none. What I am trying to say...in a quick description...is this....If you keep your prices down, you WILL have more people coming to you. 10 or 15 people coming in at a lower price comes out to be more than just a few coming in at a higher price! I run a tattoo studio and apply that same concept every day!! Myself and two other people started a paintball field back in 1992...we kept the prices SUPER cheap...low and behold...we had our small business loan of $18,000 paid off in 3 months!!...that may not seem like much, but to a budiness owner, that is HUGE!!! "If you build it, they will come"..."If you keep it reasonable, they will keep coming back!!!"

Thanks for the Advise Ddenny28... I Have owned a business in the Past, and have ran one for someone as well... Low prices will always get people in the door I do agree... and I wish my loan was only $18k... That will not even cover my monthly Payroll Smile

RE: Price?
Other than I70 Airsoft, I haven't heard much of a day to day place to play. There are several weekend places (keep in mind I have only looked into day to day places since that is my major competition)

RE: Price?
valley creek is not a day to day place and hardly a weekend place Locutus's friend owns the land and sells admission there. red dragon is a paintball arena and does not normally hold airsoft games unless someone is willing to host one.
